Quartz glass crucibles from Heraeus

Heraeus produces quartz glass crucibles for customers in the semiconductor and in the Photovoltaic industry. In close cooperation with our customers we develop crucibles that are tailored to the processes of our customers. Our Product portfolio covers quartz glass crucibles with diameters from 18“ to 36“ made from natural as well as synthetic quartz glass qualities.

The Heraeus crucible group includes the crucible plants of our Joint Ventures „Shin Etsu Quartz Products“ (SQP) and „Heraeus Shin Etsu America“ (HSA) with our partner Shin Etsu Chemicals. The overall market share at the 4 most important wafer manufacturers is about 30%.
